His Achievements

After a long time of hibernating at last inspiration once again knocked and here I am updating.

I have been focused on the education of my son and since the first day of school, he has improved a lot.

1. From being 3rd honor in the 1st quarter, he jumped 1st honors for the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

2. He consistently receiving excellent to very good rating in almost all his subjects.
3. He can read and right faster now.

4. He applies what he learned from class to his everyday living.

Of course, I would like to thank his teachers for that because they have also played an important role to his learning's.

I am praying now is that he continue to be obedient and consistent in his studies.  I am just here to teach and support him all the way!

BusyMommyMe's Year End Post

I have been inactive for a couple of months now.  Year 2011 is nearing its end and the least I can do is to at least write a year end post.

First and foremost, I want to thank all my followers and readers for continuously reading my posts.  It overwhelmed my heart when you write comments and reactions in every post I have written.  I hope that you can still support me in 2012.

I will try my best to write quality posts and updates about the busymommyme's activities.

Busy Memorizing

After two long weeks of practice for the dance, my son has a new task assigned to him. He was chosen to represent his class to the 2nd Elimination round of their Speech Fest English Category. This means another two weeks of memorizing.  No, I may sound as if I am complaining but I'm not. It is such an honor for me that my son was chosen. I am very proud that his teacher trusts his abilities.

Here is the 3 stanza poem that he should memorize:

CARING

I try hard to be a caring person

In what I say and do

I ask you how you're doing

I'm interested in you!

I can care for other people

For myself- and even for pets

I am careful when I do a job

I try not to forget!

And when I care about myself

Here's what you will see

I wear clean clothes and brush my teeth

Because caring starts with me!

After the day his teacher gave the poem I read it to him repeatedly. And to my surprise, he suddenly delivered the 1st stanza all by himself. It was a relief because at the back of my mind I am telling myself that I will not have a hard time teaching him.

Right now, he can continuously recite the poem. All we have to do is to attach the necessary action for it. This will be a busy week as the actual contest is set on Friday.

So, we will be practicing and practicing in the next few days...
